Project 01 - Story Concept Guide and Storyboard
This project presents Assessment 1 from DESN2211 Visual Narrative. It includes a complete Story Concept Guide and visual storyboard based on my original comic series Instinct. The project explores worldbuilding, character profiles, story beats, moodboards, and sequential layout planning. I used industry-standard techniques in story development and visual communication to pitch the narrative foundations of Instinct Issue #1: “Awakening of the Prodigy.”

Project-3a Digital Journal - Part A
This project includes Part A of my ongoing Digital Journal for DESN2211 Visual Narrative. It compiles creative research, visual development, concept sketches, thumbnails, mood explorations, and notes on narrative design—all of which informed my storytelling process. The journal reflects an iterative approach to developing my visual narrative voice and building a foundation for future projects like Instinct.

Project 02 - Project Prototype + Pitch
Created for DESN2211: Visual Narrative, this is the first full-length comic prototype from the Instinct Comics universe.
Developed as part of an industry-standard pitch and production process, this 32-page prototype blends superhero action, dark fantasy, and emotional storytelling.

Instinct Issue #1 – Awakening of the Prodigy introduces Tevon Taylor, a reluctant prophesied hero, as he embarks on his first solo mission. When a legendary tyrant emerges from the shadows of a crumbling warehouse, Tevon is forced into a brutal battle that awakens a dormant power within.

Project-3b Digital Journal - Part b
This comprehensive digital journal documents the creative process behind Instinct Issue #1 – Awakening of the Prodigy, produced for DESN2211: Visual Narrative.

Spanning Weeks 7–13 of Semester 1, 2025, the journal includes:
